1/19/2011 Denver, CO Snow Squall and Windy afternoon

BNVN Weather Paparazzi Tony Laubach was out chasing the weather from the strong cold front that blasted through the Front Range shortly after lunchtime on Wednesday dropping temperatures nearly 20 degrees in less than an hour as gusty northerly winds gusted to near 50mph.

Snow started falling fast and was heavy at times with near white-out conditions in combination with the strong winds.

Video package includes shorts during the height of the snow squall when winds gusted upwards of 50mph and snow was heaviest. Several shots of traffic in the heavy snow along US 287 in northern Denver. Various other clips include winds blowing around trees and brush along the roadways.
