Winter continued its absence across the Midwest as an Enhanced Risk of severe weather threatened several states across the region on Friday. Hail and high winds were reported across several states as a strong cold front barrelled through the region. On the backside, blizzard conditions were reported as cold air slammed into the central part of the country. Temps in the 70s across Illinois will give way to lows in the 20s tomorrow night.
