A very unexpected thunderstorm that produced a lot of pea sized, half inch and even 3/4″ hail in Saint Cloud, MN. At the worst of the storm, there was hail was covering the ground as if it was snow as the storms raced off at over 70 miles per hour to the east before falling apart. At the time of posting this video, hail is still covering the ground in areas several hours after the storm as if it was snow due to the near frozen or frozen ground temps.

Jesse Walters of JWSevereWeather documents heavy lake effect snowfall during the morning commute in the Chicago Metro. A lake effect snow warning was in effect at the time of filming.

A significant tornado tracked from between Smithville and Trimble, MO to south of Plattsburg and west of Lathrop.

Interviews were conducted with a first responder and a tornado victim who was home during time of impact

The packaged also included shots from a tractor trailer that was blown over in the same storm system north of the Kansas City airport at the Intersection of I-29 and I-435
