Lake Effect Snow, Northern Chicago Metro – 2/11/2021


Moderate lake effect snow occurred around the Chicago Metropolitan Area during the afternoon/evening rush hours. Reduced visibilities and quick accumulations were a result of the moderate snowfall rates. Chicago National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory alerting the public to the impending weather.
