A band of moderate lake effect snow affected portions of the Chicago Metropolitan Area during the morning hours of January 28, 2022. Video footage includes several scenes from the Evanston, Illinois area as snowfall began to wind down, leaving several inches in it’s wake.
Shot Description
Shots 1-2 – POV driving shots from Sheridan Avenue along the lakefront in Evanston, Illinois during moderate lake effect snowfall.
Shots 3-7 – Lake effect snowfall accumulation on vehicles in the Evanston, Illinois business district.
Shots 8-11 – Evanston Public Works removing lake effect snowfall along Sheridan Road.
Shot 12 – A resident of Evanston, Illinois works hard with a snow blower to clear her driveway along Lake Street in Evanston, Illinois.
Shots 13-14 – Several feet of snowfall piled up along a fence line bordering the Edens Expressway and Lake Street.
Shots 15-20 – Random scenes involving pedestrians and traffic in Evanston, Illinois including Northwestern University.
Shot 21 – The Edens Expressway after the morning rush hour which was significantly impacted by the moderate lake effect snowfall that occurred.
