Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, 08/29/2005 Flooding & Escape

After being told that the levee had failed and seeing that the water is rising fast, I flee through flooded streets to get out of downtown New Orleans and back to Kenner and higher ground near the airport. The SUV gets slammed with debris as I drive through water that was at some places 3 feet deep to escape the flooding.
