A strong isolated thunderstorm crossed the Tavaputs Plateau between Price, UT and Grand Junction, CO with impressive lightning and much needed rainfall.
Video shot from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM where the moon rises and making the longer exposure images turn night into what appears to be day in the middle of the night.

1. Distant storm with traffic on Interstate 70 in the foreground.
2. Close up of the storm over Castle Valley.
3. Wide shot of storm nearing I-70 with Milky Way overhead.
4. Moon rises at 10PM as the storm nears Grand Junction with gravity waves in the mid level cloud deck above.
