Video Description
Severe storms explode across Kansas dumping hail up to baseball size, intense rain, and several funnel clouds. Storms struggled during the day, but really got going after dark and this video was of one of the tornado-warned supercells in southeast Kansas.
Video package shot in and around the town of Admire, KS which is approximately 15 miles north of Emporia along I-335. Opening shots of hail up to golfball size falling intensely on KS-99. Shot via POV with good nighttime lightning, hail clearly visible bouncing on the highway and on the grass. Several shots of traffic on I-335 stopped during the storm. Following shots at a residence where golfball hail continues to fall, bouncing on the ground. Package ends with various aftermath shots of hail sized up with a golfball.
