Footage of Excel Energy crews doing what is called "Implosion Welding" new high-voltage transmission lines along Interstate 94 in Saint Cloud, MN.
Implosion Welding is the act of imploding; a bursting inward (opposed to explosion) of the metal on the high voltage transmission lines to splice them together.

Footage shot from across the Interstate with three camera's for a tight, medium and wide shot of the implosion as traffic continues to drive on Interstate 94.
