While the south and east coast have been seeing the heavier snow, central Minnesota has been getting the more dangerous quick bursts of snow. These quick bursts of snow of less then an inch can give motorists a false sense of security as it is not snowing that hard but the snow on the untreated roads make the roads extremely slippery.
