A rare ice storm this time of year in eastern North Dakota has caused significant tree damage and knocked power out for over 5,000 people. In Oriska, ND, I measured 1 1/4" of ice on several downed branches. The I-94 Oriska rest area took an extreme hit as seen in this video.
