ST. Patrick\'s Day brought the luck of the Irish to those with clear sky\'s during the overnight hour\'s as a powerful geomagnetic storm hit the planet and turned the sky shamrock-green.
The storm was caused by a Coronal Mass Ejection or \"CME\" that exploded off the sun a few days ago. At one point the storm was rated a G4-Class storm with a KP of 8.
