Video Description
Severe storms blow across eastern Colorado with very strong winds and hail up to golfball size. Video package shot east of Colorado Springs in Lincoln County south of the town of Punkin Center. Several storms formed and moved across eastern/southeast Colorado during the evening hours prompting severe-warnings for wind. Most storms had hail from penny-to-nickel, but there were reports up to golfball near Ordway (east of Pueblo).
Video package opens up with POV shots as severe storm crosses CO-71 south of Punkin Center with a large amount of dust beneath a wall cloud. Various shots of impressive structure and dust as the storm pushes across the highway.
Video transitions to hail up to nickel-size falling and covering the road. Includes several shots as hail falls with passing cars. Storm aftermath shots of hail accumulated on the roofs of nearby buildings as well as hail on the roads.
