Video Description

Video Footage of a developing storm with an close range, elongated and Kinked wild Rope Funnel cloud that made several attempts at reaching the ground and coming over half way down to the ground at 2 separate points just outside of the town of Benson in west central Minnesota. Also footage of a Damaging Hail producing Supercell over Donnelly in Stevens County Minnesota.
Shot Description
1. Compact tilted developing updraft base over the town of Benson Minnesota with a rotating Bowl Wall Cloud at nearly initiation.

2. Rapidly forming Wall Cloud with strong rotation nearly overhead 2 miles east of Benson in Swift County Minnesota at 3:40pm.

3. Funnel cloud forming and beginning to lower from storm base.

4. Funnel cloud becoming stretched and elongated with wild kinks and horizontal feeders winding up in it.

5. Long Twisting Rope Funnel Cloud making a long reach toward the ground at over the half way point but not quite touching down.

6. Supercell Thunderstorm with plate stacked leading edge and green hail core visible approaching the camera with lightning and thunder roar!

7-9 Damaging Hail storm producing up to Hen Egg sized hail crossing in front of the camera with a loud hail roar.

10. Driving POV approaching a Severe Warned Storm near Cyrus in Pope County Minnesota.
